One Day Curb Appeal Projects

By Guest - January 11, 2016
When trying to sell your home curb appeal is very important! Curb appeal is the first impression your house will make on potential buyers. Potential buyers commonly are looking for something that seems inviting and welcoming. The entrance to your house should project these feelings in order to get more traffic on your listing.

Some of these projects are so small that people forget about them, but yet they make a huge difference when trying to boost the curb appeal and separability of your home.

Something as simple as replacing your house numbers. This could give your house an updated look, and it is also beneficial to have in case of an emergency, people can find you easier if there were to be a problem.

Your curb starts at your mailbox! Don't forget to keep this area neat and organized when doing yard work. Plant a few flowers. Investing in some lighting. Light up mailbox numbers are a great thing. Keep the area well landscaped!

Don't forget about your front door! Give it a pop of color with a new paint job! Update your door knocker, or make sure your doorbell is working properly. This is the entrance to your home and has the ability to make a huge impression on potential home buyers, take advantage!

This is also a great time to add lighting to your front entrance area! Make sure the path from the road or driveway is well lit to your front entrance! (Great way to show off that new colorful front door!) Also, while your at it, give your front entrance a nice pressure washing! Get rid of years of built up dirt and grime.

Hide those garbage cans! push them to the side of the house, hidden by road traffic! A simple little faux fence could come in handy at hiding those pesky things.
